COST SHARE PROGRAM, 2011 

The Stevens County Noxious Weed Control Board will offer cost share in one form or another on selected noxious weeds as resources allow. Weeds are selected for cost share primarily based on how limited a weed population is in the county. Class A weeds are, by definition, extremely limited and are listed as mandatory eradication by the State Weed Board. We will always give Class A weeds priority for cost share programs.  In addition, the Weed Board may offer limited cost share on certain B weeds that are designated for control.  

Each landowner MUST understand that ultimately control of all listed noxious weeds is their sole responsibility.

The following list of weeds are those that are targeted for cost share in 2011.  If you have an infestation of one or more of the listed weeds you may qualify for cost share.  The earlier in the season you contact us, the more likely it is we will be able to schedule the necessary work and the more likely we will still have the resources to do it.  If you think you have one of the weeds on the list and you would like to participate in our cost share program, contact the office by phone, email or letter.
