This is only a "heads up" list of weeds that you may find in your yard, driveway or lot. Certainly there are many more- some of which are on our Weed List for control and others are simply too abundant for us to require control. Kochia
(noxious weed, on list) found along roads-hand pull works good!

Leafy Spurge
(noxious weed, on county list)-cost share available! This is a bad one folks. Please contact us if you see it.

Blueweed
(noxious weed, on list) making good progress on this one. Pull, dig or spray. Will keep flowering if you mow. Bag flower heads to keep seed contained.

Spotted knapweed
(noxious weed, on list) abundant-control on roads and property boundaries

Rush Skeletonweed
(noxious weeds, on county list) -lots of this one down south-try to keep from spreading. Biocontrols are working on it.

Dalmatian toadflax
(noxious weed, not on county list) abundant-control if you only have a few plants-tough to get rid of

Purple loosestrife
(noxious weed, on county list) check your lake frontage or wet fields. Don't let it go to seed!

Hoary alyssum
(noxious weed, on county list) just getting going in this area-pull if you see it
