| Typically a property owner who wants to install a private water, private electrical, or private sewer line, over, under, or along a Stevens County road. |
| WHO DECIDES IF A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT IS TO BE ISSUED? |
| The Board of County Commissioners. |
| HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT? |
| This is generally a 4 week process. |
| HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? |
| The cost is approximately $42.00 (the cost of advertising for a 2-week period) plus a $15.00 permit fee to work on a County road for private property owners. |

| Your first step is to contact our office and we will step you through a series questions to see if one is warranted. |
