"Free Metals Day" Program>April, 2004

| On Sunday April 25th, 2004 Stevens County Landfill had their semi-annual "Free Metals Day". By all standards it was quite a success with 515 vehicles coming in and approximately 150 Tons of metal being collected. Vehicles were lined up from the gate to the state highway, which is typical for this event. A decision was made to extend the hours this go around starting at 8:00 am and running to 4:00 pm. | |
