The Stevens County Land Services Department strives to provide professional leadership in the construction and land development process by effective administration and enforcement of a multitude of local, state, and federal building and land use codes. Our office is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and helping to protect the quality of life for Stevens County citizens. In order to fulfill these responsibilities and to enhance the general health, safety and welfare of our constituents we are guided by the following goals and principles:

Important Note: Beginning January 2013, the Board of County Commissioners has reinstated fulltime work weeks for all county departments. There will be no more closures for furlough days. If you have any questions, please contact Erik Johansen, Land Services Director at 684-2401.
