The Hearing Examiner conducts quasi-judicial proceedings and issues decisions and recommendations on land use cases and administrative appeals, pursuant to Stevens County Code, Title 3. Decisions by the Hearing Examiner are subject to appeal. The Hearing Examiner position is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.

The Stevens County Hearing Examiner typically holds regularly scheduled hearings on the 4th Wednesday of each month beggining at 1:30pm. Hearings are held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Stevens County Courthouse (Rm 215). 215 S. Oak Street, Colville, unless otherwise posted.
