Building Division
The cost for a building permit depends on the project you are proposing and the size and type of structure. Single family residences, commercial or industrial buildings, remodels, and manufactured home permit costs vary. If you are trying to estimate or verify a permit cost, please contact our office. You will need to provide specific information about your proposal:

• Residence & residential additions -  1st/2nd floor living space, basement (finished & unfinished), decks or porches, garage, etc.
• Outbuildings – if conventional frame or post frame (pole building)
• Commercial – Identify type of use and type of construction. Floor plans may be necessary.
• Remodels/Reroof/Siding – Normally based on a value of work provided by owner.
• Manufactured homes – the number of sections (i.e., single wide, double wide)
• Mechanical permits – the fee is listed on the application which can be found on this site under Forms and Applications.
