Assessor’s Maps
***Assessor maps are for assessment purposes only;
questions about the ability to build on or sell a particular
parcel can be answered by the Land Services Department at (509)
684-2401***
Maps
are available, after you look up a specific parcel number, by hitting
the map tab in the Real Property Search. This will include, at a
minimum, a
digital ortho-photo
of the section.
However, we are currently digitally mapping all of Stevens County and
the project is expected to take two more years to complete. This
means some section maps may have no parcels drawn in while others have
some or all the parcels drawn in. In some cases, the State of Washington reference grid (sections) used to
build the county parcel layer may not accurately represent the true
cadastre coordinates on the ground and these inaccuracies are reflected
in the parcel layer. Thus, the parcel layer may not line up
exactly with digital ortho-photos features, such as roads, streams,
fence lines, etc. This data does not represent the legal boundary
of the property, only the general shape and approximate location of the
property/parcel in question. |
