Stevens County Civil Service is testing for Lateral Deputy to establish an eligibility list for current and future openings with the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office.

The lateral-entry Deputy examination will consist of a completed application, resume, report review and interview; please review the Official Announcement for details and important dates.

A completed application; resume; $25.00, non-refundable application/exam fee; and three (3) incident reports (completed by the applicant prior to 1/15/17), must be received by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

The Stevens County Assessor's Office has an opening for a Segregation Deputy.  Pay starts at $13.41 an hour. Applicant must have the ability to understand legal descriptions, to work with mathematical concepts and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. This position is full time  with a normal week is 40 hours 5 days a week from 8:00 to 5:00 with 1 hour for lunch.  Please review the Job Description for the complete requirements for the position.
