Becoming a 911 Communications Officer (also referred to 911 Dispatcher & Call Receiver) is one of the few careers that does NOT require a college education, in fact, on the job, employer paid training is provided.  Starting salary is $15.77 per hour with generous benefits including medical & dental insurance, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays the first year.
