JOB SUMMARY:
The
Republic Mental Health Unit Supervisor
provides supervision to assigned mental health counselors, case
managers, program aides, and peer counselors in the Republic Mental Health
Unit. This includes conducting clinical supervision of subordinates
providing direct mental health services to a wide variety of clients
(primarily adults and families) in agency, hospital, schools and community.
In addition to supervision, carry a case load of adult clients that results
in a minimum productivity level of 25%. Provide employee training as
necessary to ensure the Mental Health Services Program objectives,
requirements, and procedures are met and being maintained. Serve as a
Designated Mental Health Professional (DMHP) on the crisis response team.

JOB SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility is to provide direct service to mentally ill
clients. Carry a case load of adult clients. Conduct screenings and intake
evaluations; conduct mental health assessments and establish an accurate DSM
health diagnosis; develop treatment plans. Additionally, provide therapy
for a wide variety of clients, primarily adults between the ages of 18 – 60
years of age, in the agency, hospital, schools, and the community. Provide
modalities of individual therapy, case management, family therapy, and group
therapy. Document all sessions and maintain clinical, administrative, and
MIS records. Coordinate treatment with Program Aides and Case Managers.
Attend case conferences of clients with team and supervisor. Serve as a
member of the crisis response team. Perform other duties as assigned by the
Davenport Unit Supervisor.
